The sad story of Japan

The sad story of Japan.

The first month's rent for an apartment is equivalent to the price of 10 canned drinks dispensed by the vending machines, or slightly more than $1 !! And Japan's Housing prices are equal to where they were in the 1980's.

Many economists compare the present US economy to follow the path of Japan, should the Fed's present actions continue. And probably China is now where Japan was in the 1970's.

For a generation, Japan has been trapped in low growth and deflation, shriveling from an economic giant to little more than an afterthought in the global economy.
