Kindle or Ipad, why not have something much bigger !

Well, if I am still an avid reader of books, which I am no longer, I will definitely opt for a kindle. And imagine 1 months battery life. That is really something. But there is only one thing. You carry one for reading books, carry another for listening to songs, yet another if you also want to watch a movie, and yet another if you also would like to check mails and whatever else you may want to do. Why can't someone make something with all these attributes and you have the world under your feet.
